According to internal sources, Alibaba’s security team flagged Claude Code because the model can produce inaccurate or vulnerable code snippets. For a company that runs massive e‑commerce operations and cloud services, a single flawed line of code could trigger data breaches or service outages, prompting a precautionary ban.
