
The history of corporate record labels is filled with failed attempts by companies that had no business being in the music industry. Bose, however, thinks it can be the exception to the rule. The company is trying to emulate the success of Red Bull, which has become a well-known media company in addition to its energy drink business. Bose is launching its own media company, called Bose Studios, with plans to produce a variety of content. But will Bose be able to succeed in the competitive media landscape? Only time will tell if Bose’s ambitious plan will pay off.
