Meta announced on Monday that its AI chatbot, Meta AI, is now available inside Threads direct messages. The move turns the platform’s simple messaging interface into a more interactive space where users can ask questions, get content ideas, or receive quick information without leaving the app.

To start a conversation, users simply tap the new “Meta AI” button that appears at the bottom of any DM thread. The bot leverages advanced natural‑language processing to understand queries and respond in a conversational tone. Whether you need a headline for a new post, a suggestion for a visual layout, or a quick weather update, Meta AI can deliver relevant answers in seconds. All interactions are saved in the chat history, allowing users to revisit previous exchanges.
